Ashley
Director Employment & Skills
My role as Director Employment & Skills is
very varied, one day could be talking to young
people about their career choices and then the
next I could be talking to a large blue chip
organisation about the corporate social
responsibility, no two days are ever the same.
My main duties are to oversee all the
Constructionworks contracts and at the same time
look for new and exciting opportunities that fit
with our core values. I am a family man with
over 15 years’ experience of managing welfare to
work, training and Social Inclusion contracts
around the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Nikki
Finance & Operation Manager
As the Finance & Operations Manager, it is
my job to ensure all the paperwork for different
contracts is completed within the set deadlines.
I work with all closely with our funders and
external bodies. I also work alongside senior
management to ensure the targets for the company
are been achieved for Apprenticeships,
Traineeships, Talent Match and the YEI
Programme. I have worked for the company for
nearly 7 years now, I have progressed through
the company over the years and had various
different roles within the company.
Tracey
Director
As the initial founder of Constructionworks,
Engineeringworks and Cityworks in 2005 as a ‘not
for profit’ organisation I’ve gained vast
experience in delivering employment and training
strategies direct within local industry and
public sector. My ongoing challenge is the
development of new business and training models
that capture the social benefit and value from
capital investments that grow locally. My
background within the public and private sectors
has given me a good understanding of the social
landscape and where potential business/skills
opportunities exist. Over the past 25 years I
have worked on the myriad of national and local
programmes, disentangling the jargon to find a
smooth pathway through that’s good for the
customer and our partners. I enjoy working with
down to earth people. I’m just a normal person
like you that also has issues with weight
management, shopping and people who take too
long to get to the point, I will never get that
time back.
